My partner has been a big help. I am stubborn and used to just doing things for myself. But he’s been helping out where he can after he gets back from work. The kids are helping too. Just makes me feel bad that people are doing the things I normally do. I appreciate it, but I’m stubborn lol.

If I notice a decline in anything I’ll just ask for a note to reduce my shifts a little bit. But my household relies on two incomes to get by right now, especially since we 2 adults, 2 teens, 8 cats, 3 fish tanks, and a leopard gecko to take care of. My classes are for a better, higher paying job.

I’m doing a lot better compared to earlier this week. I unfortunately have things I need to do that I can’t get out of-got bills to pay so I went back to work Friday. And have classes I’m taking that I got a couple days extension on assignments but can’t drop them. Taking breaks when I need!

I started trying to draw again last night, went well but again, breaks-many breaks. I have comms I need to finish for peeps and this accidental injury is not helping.

stitches removed. Then on the 3rd I get to drive 2 hrs west to get seen by a plastic surgeon to see if I need surgery or not. If not, it's a 4-8 week healing process. If yes, it's 3-4 month healing process. I'm able to look at screens for a decent bit now without any issue but still need breaks.
