The news be celebrating that gas prices dropped below $3 for the first time since ‘21. I shouldn’t have read that before I went to get gas, coz clearly that memo didn’t make it to the island and I my expectations were let down. 🫠😂

And it’s December.
Been rather inactive on this app lately so I decided I should share a holiday photo each day till Christmas. A photo advents calendar of sorts. Sound like a fun idea, right?

You are looking over to the window and find the cat fast asleep with her head leaning against a green plant pot, like it was the most comfortable pillow in the house. One of the small humans in the house has put a tiny red Santa hat on the cat while she’s been dreaming the day away. And just like that, she’s Santa very sleepy little helper. Over the last couple of days we have gutted the bathroom for a renovation. In the process we removed a couple of walls. One had nothing but open space of roof framing.The way houses are built in the US, hehe… Before we close the wall again, the spouse had a fabulous idea. Listen.. /1

Kid had me take her to the second hand shop for some dinosaurs she wanted to make for her friends. I had no clue what she was trying to make. This, this is what she made. I have a suspicion her friends will love their gifts.

Told her that Honolulu airport is on the list for capacity cuts starting tomorrow. She doesn’t care too much as long as her food supply chain isn’t interrupted.

Another day, a different set of friends my kids are hanging out with. It’s sideline internet scrolling for me, though my oldest bought me a hot cocoa to make up for spending another morning in double socks & a knitted sweater. I watched the news clip a caller told Mike Johnson how disappointed.. /1
