There's always gonna be one-offs and anecdotes that are bad, but Trump and a lot on the right have lied and demonized all immigrants using the few bad apples to try and represent the whole, even when it contradicts the overall evidence. But that's not new, people have been doing that to immigrants

It's not even up for debate that immigrants are good for the country. New ideas, a diversity of culture, awesome food ("American" food is trash) and these people are almost always coming here for a better life and want to be a part of the country. Of course there are exceptions to every rule.

I personally now feel that we need to go back to something similar to what was happening during the Obama era where local police was working more with ice and at least reporting undocumented criminals to ice for deportation. I want people to be able to have due process, but what's happening now is 🥜

Couple that with the fact that ice is out there violently attacking protesters exercising their first amendment rights, and now having killed two US citizens doing that I don't see how you could argue that ICE is currently doing any good.

Sure, not all statistics do that of course, but you still have nothing to support any notion that immigrants are somehow more dangerous than us born people, so the argument that you're trying to make about how isis making cities or communities more safe is just not true.

They differentiate between US born and non-US born individuals. For violent crimes they commit crimes at like half the rate of US born people. Look at the data yourself, there is zero data that shows higher rates of crim committed by immigrants 👍
