I think what always threw me off about the ending was when they had the talk about pretending to be Pod People to avoid getting turned.

Just watched that movie for the very first time not too long ago.

The ending always left me with questions. Like did he really get turned into a Pod Person or was he still trying to fit in so he wouldn’t get caught as a human? Still a great movie, but the ending always had me wondering.
