Well, had another unexpected tangent... I reverse engineered Bambu Labs Cloud API so I can keep printers out of local mode while having full API access for MQTT data/commands, file uploads, video streaming, etc.

i definitely spend my free time in practical ways... Redesigning the MS-01 so I can make a new modular case to fix the cooling 🙃

New version of ProtoTracer runs on Linux/Windows/Embedded. Made a virtual controller that links over shared memory to a frontend that will eventually be an editor

For the HMD it's using a Pi CM4 with a dual-mipi2 carrier for camera inputs (Sony IMX cameras), dual circular displays, (tragically) fresnel lenses, and uses a stripped down Raspbian OS with modified binaries for rendering the displays with low-latency. Was a bit of pain lol

IPD is adjustable but this vision system is still not ideal. Long-range boop sensor - set to 100mm, stereoscopic cameras/display, detects if you're wearing it(dies when you aren't :c), powered via USB-C, dual-microcontrollers for front and back rendering, uses Valve Index face gasket, etc,etc
