Our Monash Centre members hosted 8 Yr 9 BrainSTEM Innovation Challenge students/teachers. We examined turning coffee in synthetic fuels & challenged them 2 think critically, what's an acceptable cost for green hydrogen. It was rewarding to see the students critically reflect on how they value STEM.

At Science Alive we joined @getco2.bsky.social. W Elephant’s toothpaste (minus the elephant) & an electrolyser that turned CO2 into formic acid it was a constructive engagement with many of the 20,000 people at the gig about the potential of transforming waste (eg CO2) via the magic of #catalysis.

Our Centre’s first International Conference on Advances in Carbon Science and Innovation (#ICACSI) was a success!
