I mean, Bush admin invading Afghanistan/Iraq were atrocious decisions in their own right. But everything the current admin has said and done in regards to tariffs, tax cuts, the budget deficit, federal layoffs and aid cuts, constitutional and other legal violations is objectively so much worse.

Even though you don't have a goal weight, I am curious, how was your weight loss progress the first couple months in? I physically feel quite a bit better and have more energy but haven't made much weight loss progress so far.

About the same timeline for me as well, though I’ve been focusing a little bit more on cardio. Keep at it. 🙂

I can’t relate to having kids, but all my past jobs were with people older than me and no real friendships formed, friends I had in my twenties drifted away which everyone can relate to. And I had a couple of them financially screw me over so I really have a hard time trusting people these days.

I'm also just feeling burnt out with the news cycle and job searching that my mind is a bit numb at the moment.

I thought last week's episode was much more interesting and felt that it added more to the story in regard to the experiments and I mean, honestly torture Lumen is doing. I really didn't care for this week's episode but that's probably because I don't really care about the character all that much

The GOP is officially a MAGA cult. It has become so partisan and filled with disinformation, attacks on every facet of our institutions, civil servants, veterans and global allies that they are tearing up everything the country stands for and what so many sacrificed to get us here today.

Absolutely, but she didn’t deserve to have to struggle with extra stress from working 2 jobs while raising me because of a selfish prick like my dad. While much of my resentment towards him is gone, I’ll never get my lost childhood back. It’s definitely something you look back on as you get older.

My mom raised me by herself from the time I was nine. My drunk and abusive father never paid any child support. I rarely saw her growing up because she was always working and we were pretty poor throughout my childhood. He spent his days enjoying Hawaii, living off government assistance.
