Thanks for the kind words. So long as polish doesn't manifest into a paralytic perfectionism, more effort, soul, love, and attention are definitely things I wish were in more games as well. But the flip side is that it makes the few games that have it shine more.

Invariably we will change, and inspirations too will general flit and manifest differently as we shape and grow. The projects I started years ago will be changed by the person I am now, and their original intentions obscured, forgotten, or just not as emotionally accessible. Do what moves you now.

Very difficult question. As someone doing the latter, after six years I wish I'd done the former, but I think that retrospect goes both ways regardless of route. More importantly, inspiration is fickle, tempermental, and elusive. I believe it more important to seize and act on that while it appears.
