I enjoy Ezra's show but this interview demonstrates that Gurri is a third-rate thinker at best. I appreciate Ezra's mission to better understand the MAGA movement but if the intellectual substance of MAGA is just a bunch of monosyllabic grunts then we don't need an Ezra Klein to dig deeper.

It has all the hallmarks of crankism. Uncontrolled stream of consciousness, outlandish claims about missing money, only I can fix it, etc.
