I would imagine Danny's still trying to figure out his relationship with Sam, and the feelings he seems to still have for Valerie. We've all been in that situation before

I do hope we get to explore that more for future sequels.

After reading the new book, I'm having my hopes for future sequels of these two. 🤞

There still seems to be something deeper between them that hasn't gone, even though Danny is with Sam.
