Yep, not every topic in life needs verbal sparring or point/counterpoint, or fact checking.
There are times and places for that. There are times I want breaking, unfiltered news.
Most times, life is just not that serious. In fact, I would argue, the goal is to increase those times.

No matter how you feel about this issue, one has to admit that there is no reason to announce this to the public other than to play political games. This can just be an internal memo to those people who work there.

In modern politics and entertainment, there really is hardly any such thing as damning evidence. We have heard this statement about 1,000 people in the last 5-10 years, virtually all but a handful have went unscathed.
