Another fantastically fabulous fall read—>
And one hell of a song. 🌂

And like, the next day I got popped and went to jail…spent most of September in the Laclede County Lockdown, laying on a concrete slab in the fetal position.
Got out last Wednesday…OR’d and let go, the first tunes I listened to on my way home were the same as the day I was arrested.

And today I ripped this off the wall of my messy backroom. Still trying to make sense of the scratches and scribbles on the backside of this old Titus Andronicus poster.

“Starry and Smokey Nights.” —set to one hell of a hip-hop track.

And to add to the last post, I’ve called Senator Hawley’s offices multiple times as well to express my concerns as a disabled American about changes that might be made to supplies that effect/affect, both, my day to day existence and go figure, Senator Josh never returns calls, same as ol’ Rep. Mark

Does anyone else in 21st Century Americ(KKK)a have trouble getting in touch with those who “represent” us in the federal and state government? I’ve called both my Senator and Representatives in Missouri only to be hung up on by rep. Alford’s office multiple times and treated like trash for calling.

Meet Ms. Maggie D. Darling Cassady, in bed grooving to RTJ IV.

And this is my defect, my disability and superpower, a quick synopsis of sorts…sorry for any grossness **

📻 & the tune.

Even more desk stuff, the ever shifting pile.
📻 tune & another one of my dumb-dumb doodles, could be a sort of self-portrait.

Radio tune at the moment, a really great one. 📻
And a stack of stuff on my desk.

My briefcase, which was once carried by my grandpa, has been through the pits of hell & back, and has seen better days. It went through the European war front, & my own personal war with health, surgery and bad days as a 20th/21st century disabled man. Its score should be this song, a killer track.

My granddad, Robert Henry Taylor, on graduation day, before heading to war to gun down fascists with light bombs and machine gun fire. If I could set this picture to music, it would be set to this song by Ms. Lana Del Rey.
The below photo is from Dr. Bob & Sara Taylor’s 50th wedding anniversary

Before he died, my grandpa said of my grandma, who he had lost a year prior, that he had always prayed and hoped to live long enough to take care of his dearest Sara who had lived such a tough and hard life and that he was darn lucky God let him live long enough to do so.
A little context about my grandparents and their love letters…my grandpa was a Southern Baptist pastor and my grandma was a one school room teacher who lost both parents early in life, she was also a mother, a Sunday school teacher, a preacher’s wife, & a heroic grandma who suffered traumatic loss.

My grandma, Sara Elizabeth Norris-Taylor, and I way back in 1982…and a letter my grandpa, Dr. Robert Henry Taylor, wrote to her while in college, shortly before he was shipped off to fight and kill Nazis in World War II.

They were, and always be, heroes to me, forever and always.

A quick scribbled down note…

Anyone in Missouri want to call this guy up and help me tell him how much he sucks ass? Because I fucking hate this guy. And btw—I once heard from an old college acquaintance of his that he loved to snort white powder piles back in his school days.

This is beyond nifty and I’m so happy to see a post like this!

And yeah, the human world is a mess, so let the healing begin, please. ❤️‍🩹
“We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It’s easy to say, ‘It’s not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem.’ Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes.”

How I feel right now as a recovered Southern Baptist who never liked Southern Baptists to begin with.
I was once one of those kids who had parents who forced him to listen to Baptist preachers rerun their sermons, a kid who often cussed the preacher silently by doodling on the churches evangel.
