I didn't know what to get her, so I got her the Moon.

Final result of the #art I was doing before. I'm very happy with how I did. Finding the right brush in CSP really feels like a gamechanger.
I tried #glaze for this, and dear heavens does it take longer than it says it would.

Random morning musings. Too long for a bleet(?), so sent it this way.
Why is it so easy to focus on the negatives? Because the good is so long established that it has become nothing. Basic. The foundation for the home we now stand in. Heat pumps in through the ironwork and plumbing. Cold in through the windows. Water through the faucets. Sound from every corner as life and the world progresses heedlessly. Beneath my fingers keys slide into place as I write a concerto of words, Detailing the simple things that life has given me. But even the simple is not so simple. Beneath the keys, emerald boards covered in golden filigree think so I do not need to wield a pen, and wrap the world in my words. So complex, so mundane, so unheeded.

Update. Hadn't worked on it much all week, but very happy with today's progress.
The biggest issue I find for myself is that the hair looks so hard. There's a feeling like it is caked in place, each strand unbending. How do I add conditioner to a piece of art?
I'll figure it out.

Compared to last time, a lot of progress has been made, the eyes being more firmly finished, the hair in place though looking a bit hard in some way. Some details are still missing, like the subtle facial tattoo that spreads beneath both eyes and across the nose.

A work in progress. I'm actually quite happy with how she's turning out, though I feel there is much to be improved upon. I worry that the lighting and my rendering makes her corpse-like, but I am trusting the process for now. I'm actually having a lot of fun with this.

The nose may be a bit small, throwing off the composition of her face ever so slightly. Nevertheless, some effort has been put into it, and more will go into it still.

I would like to show you one of my favorite meme images that no one ever uses.

Progress on Barbatos! #gunpla

If you were expecting something spicy, I must disappoint you.
I was showing friends the build I made in Valheim.

This is Sara Salann. Her gimmick is that she generates power through g-force; by running fast and doing flips. It makes her stronger and faster, but starts to break down her body after a while.
She's not sure how she got it, but someone told her she wears the tatters of a god's dream like a scarf.
