Working on a solo strategy game for Playdate inspired by LCR
You collect all the tokens by battling with cards instead of dice
Still early and focused on gameplay
Anyone interested in playtesting?

Just got a new #playdate because the previous one was "borrowed" permanently by my family.

Working on a new Challenge Mode for Sudoku Time. Players will fail the level after 3 mistakes. Adding a new layer of difficulty for those looking for a tougher experience. #playdate #indiedev #indiegame

A player has officially completed all 100 levels. This is a milestone I’m proud to share. Thank you for playing and pushing the game to its limits.

Trying out a new tweak for Sudoku Time on #Playdate , shifting the sound rate as you play. It’s a small detail, but it helps keep each round feeling fresh and less repetitive. #indidev

POC: Crank-based grid navigation is coming to Sudoku Time in the next version (thanks @8bitbear.bsky.social )! Rotate the #Playdate crank to cycle through cells, I'll release a demo once I implement it for all the menus.

"Why doesn’t Sudoku Time use the crank?"

I tried it for grid navigation, but it just felt clunky. Since your hands are already on the D-pad and buttons, adding the crank interrupted the flow.

Developing Sudoku Time for the #Playdate taught me a lot about designing for hardware limitations.

Balancing readable visuals on the small screen was a challenge, but I’m proud of the final result.

What do you think of the visuals? Feedback welcome!
