pleased to report that my dad is spending father’s day in ultimate dad mode: he’s at a meet-up with his corvette club, being a car nerd and enjoying the New England summer

Acclimatizing to the crate is going well.
A black cat is curled up and relaxing in the back corner of a large wire mesh dog crate. The door closest to the viewer is open, allowing an unobstructed view inside. i liked the shapes of the cups and salt shaker at the breakfast buffet in a hotel i was at so i doodled them. i’m “not an artist” but that doesn’t mean i can’t make art and share it

A tape loom made of wood, dressed with dark and light blue threads. The tape loom is shaped like an open topped box with a large reel in the back for threads to be wound upon and a smaller reel in the center to wind finished tape onto. A flat piece of wood with slats cut into it and holes drilled into the slats sits at the front of the loom, called a rigid heddle.

picked up a new journal almost exclusively because i’m obsessed with this year planner layout
