I love Signal and have been a user since the TextSecure days but, like @ianjohnbuckley.bsky.social, what keeps me from donating is a general lack of transparency: No info about the foundation, the ppl behind it & how you use the funds, nor about product management & roadmap (little comms on GitHub).

Contact scopes are great, thx so much! However, if I want to share only the phone numbers of some contacts with, say, WhatsApp, I frequently run into the "Contact scope full" error message, which renders the feature almost unusable for me. What's the technical reason for limiting the # of contacts?
