Marketing assets, etc. is one thing, but the soundtrack?

It takes more coordination to press something on a touch screen, especially in a moving vehicle.

Not as much as a touch screen.

If you know where the buttons are you can press them. But for a touch screen, you have a reasonable chance of being significantly off. Not to mention when they routinely change places.

There is a real safety risk with non-tactile controls, in that it forces you to look at a touch interface to operate it.

A physical button you can feel alleviates this temptation.

Remember, kids, if you are between the ages of 25 and 33 you don't get dinner!

Any word on whether environment variables like PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU or PROTON_DISABLE_NVAPI have any effect?

Typically, one would cite the original article (the one making the claim that Swift donated), and give reasons why it may be inaccurate.

...that's also AI (Google Gemini).

Some sources are more reputable than others. As a result, when people say "cite your sources" ChatGPT is usually no better than "I made it up"

You can use it as a tool to find relevant articles, but actually read and cite the articles, not ChatGPT.

Not clear if this is entirely correct. I know at least the Zuck has pledged to donate *something.*

Most of these companies are donating to Trump because they know they are directly in his cross hairs. They also know he's more likely to be lenient if they give him money.

Read the sources. GPT doesn't always summarize correctly.

I just asked if some of these companies donated to help with wildfires, and it said yes, then proceeded to link to an article that mentioned none of them.

I think there were a few episodes of shows (don't remember which ones) that had two separate skips, one for the intro, and the other for the recap.

I'm more impressed by how much woodgrain they managed to fit in a single room.

Now only if they had hardwood floors.

This is the type of high-brow, intellectual humor that I have come to expect from a genius like Kommander Karl.

You must have, like, the weirdest audio hardware known to man or something. I have never had anything like this happen to me.

You can still buy Office that way.

Yes. Exactly.

This is only a problem if execs don't give them enough time to make it good.

More unpopular opinion: the "news" you get from social media is even worse.
