The only time I had heard that phrase was from the driver of a horse-drawn cart tour in Charleston SC. Then a plastic shopping bag blew across the road and spooked the horse, which distracted him for the rest of the tour.

My MGS5 EV has plenty of physical controls. However the constant audible alerts are distracting. The worst one is that our speed limit signs near schools that specify 40 km/hr 7-9am and 2-4pm on school days are understood as a standard speed sign.

I don't need CC to watch TV since I got hearing aids. Previously I used CC all the time. If you need CC, have a hearing test - it might surprise you.

Where I live, apartments, medical centres, commuter car parks, shopping centres and other parking spaces are installing charging stations. You only need enough for your next trip. The reality overtakes whatever debate there might be.

The problem with dream sequences is that, especially if they seem real, at the end you realize "oh, that didn't happen".

Count your blessings. For a while in the '80s , everywhere my parents-in-law visited on their annual overseas trips had an earthquake or a coup.
