This feels out of date considering we've had match statements in Python for a few years now. They may not be the exact same thing, as they don't utilize jump tables, but they're syntactically similar enough.

Penpot is extremely inexpensive, and I've heard it's every bit as good as Figma.

It is, and incredibly inexpensive. Besides the garden space (even some indoor pots will do), you only need twine, scissors, a colinder, some sort of rack to hang the herbs on (see picture), a mortar and pestle, and a few glass bottles for storing results.

I grew herbs in my garden this past summer and fall, cut and hung them to dry in my kitchen, and then just today hand ground them with a brand new stone mortar and pestle I got at Target for only $20. My dining room smelled incredible, and now I have neat little glass bottles of super fresh herbs.
