DeepSeek has released a new set of multimodal AI models that it claims can outperform OpenAI’s DALL-E 3.

The models are part of a new model family that DeepSeek is calling Janus-Pro. They range in size from 1 billion to 7 billion parameters.

@deepseek.bsky.social did well in our Generalization Across Domains testing. We qualified Accuracy - Does the response accurately address the task in each domain? Integration - Are the tasks successfully integrated And Creativity - Does the response demonstrate creativity in bridging the domains?

We've been putting @deepseek.bsky.social through the riggers of our AGI validation and qualification testing and the results are pretty impressive in comparison to the ChatGPT model. We may end up moving to Deepseek for for our #govadmin.ai platform.

What this misses is that major changes that Elon made changed it from an open forum to an extremely distorted two-tier system - primarily boosting bluecheck replies to the top of every interaction. People with different beliefs can come here too, but they'll interact on a more level field.
