Well deserved! And it somehow beat out Ghost of Yotei and Battlefield 6. Hopefully Bandai Namco are confident enough to carry on evolving this series. Digimon Time Stranger wasn’t just a decent monster collecting game, it’s an excellent JRPG in its own right.

Game 31: Dragon Quest 3 HD Remake. Took awhile to get this done, bounced off last year, DQ needs a particular mood, with the bad weather and autumn feels, the cosiness of a DQ is unmatched. Quite enjoyed this, the quality of life is much needed for old old games like this. Onto 1 and 2 remake!

Game 30: Promise Mascot Agency. Quite torn on this one, it was unique, wacky, out there and definitely memorable. The management systems were fun, but I couldn’t help but feel the game was abit too ‘chatty’ at times. Love dialogue heavy games but not ones where the script is abit empty at times.

The spaces and locales were amazing in Digimon, the life in illiad and Tokyo was great.

Game 29: Digimon Story: Time Stranger. That was FANTASTIC, not just a great Digimon game but a great JRPG in general. Small gripe though, silent protagonists need to get in the bin. That said, highly highly recommend. Why can’t Game Freak make a Pokemon game at this level of quality!

Game 28: Crow Country. A PS1 style game is always such a draw, really enjoyed this one, helped that it was short and didn’t outstay its welcome. Controlled well, puzzles were fun, story was intriguing. And, it’s been my 60th Platinum!

Game 27: Final Fantasy Tactics. Absolute cinema, I’m so happy this got a remaster, so much nostalgia 🥲 holds up beautifully, still my favourite TRPG, even more so with the QOL. The new voice acting was incredible, brought this eloquent writing to life.

Game 26: Ghost of Yotei. Brutal but also introspective, massive improvements over Tsushima (which is one of my favourite games) the story was gripping, environments stunning in their scale. Games like this younger me could only dream of, having to settle for Way of the Samurai 😅.

I’ll actually play Ghost of Yotei properly at some point, once I stop with photo mode every 10 minutes. Stunning game, but, I can’t say I don’t miss the densely populated environments and towns we had in AC Shadows

Game 25: Borderlands 4. Put simply, I think it’s the best Borderlands game! The story was actually entertaining, characters were all great. The open world structure is a breath of fresh air for the series & last but not least, this is one of the best feeling FPS games I’ve played in ages!

Game 24: Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter. That was amazing, shot up the list of my favourite trails game by far. I can see why Estelle is a fan favourite, endearing, ditzy but earnest. And that ending 🥹. Really puts other trails games to shame *cough* most of cold steel *cough*

First time playing Trails in the Sky, played all the others in the series. Glad this remake is my first time. Honestly these few weeks are mental, BL4, this, FF Tactics, Ghost of Yotei, sure I’m forgetting others! 🥵

The movement and gunplay in Borderlands 4 is just too good! feels up there with Destiny and Call of Duty (with some controller setting tweaking)

After getting the Plat on Metal Gear Solid Delta, and it being the 10th anniversary of MGSV, I was compelled to return and clean up for the Plat, good god that was gruelling! But for some reason I couldn’t stop!

Borderlands 4 is already much better that BL3 from a tone perspective, I didn’t hate BL3 at all (I have the plat) but at times the dialogue was so off putting. Much better first impression this time! Guna sink a lot of time into this. Hit me up if anyone wants to group up (Revo-zero on PSN) 🎉

Had worse days, surf this morning 🏄, MGS V plat grind and now Daemon X Machina Titanic Scion 🥰 I swear this game is made JUST for me, Mecha, loot, open world with some check list stuff, loving it 🙏

I’m very happy I kept hold of this hardcover guide all these years, it’s making getting all the sub objectives a breeze, nicely laid out maps markers where stuff is. Can’t believe MGS V is 10 years old already 👴👨🦳
