Did JD kill C.K.?

The stupid part of this is that it doesn't matter, and could be true: kids qualify for SNAP. You can get a cheap "luxury" car at auction if you know the right people and can do repairs. Lots of people work under the table. This is like the "I saw an unemployed person with an iPhone" stories.

I remember reading this article. But I also remember the ads and speeches I heard.

Though, I'm ALSO willing to believe this is a mis-remembering moment . . .

Wasn't that working when Tim Walz was doing it? Then we stopped and moved right?

My man. I feel that from usenet fights in the 90's. Enjoy retirement. You deserve it!

I think it happened the other way exactly once, in one of the Nordic countries . . . don't think we are in line for that here.

I know so many people who want to have "done something" (write a book, paint something) without actually "doing" the thing.

Any exercise is better than none. Keep trying things until you find something you like, even if it isn't the "right" one they pen articles and listicles about.

Or just go up there and say "I just got 2 million dollars from the people who killed my dad. That's it. That's the joke."

Mike drop.

Walk off stage.

Behold, a man?

That is such a cool thing I learned today . . .

Is "Michi Adventures" your next book?

What's your case for this?

I would love someone smarter/wider read than me to have a list of "instead of X, read Y" where X is part of the "canon" and Y is a lesser known/modern/non cis/het/white authored with similar themes/character/settings . . .

PBS gets a lot of resources from local licensing and money moving up from local stations. CPB does a lot of work making sure local stations in underserved markets exist and things like underserved schools have media/educational resources (I used to work at WGBH in Boston).

Or maybe: There is a kernel of an idea in the "pummeling", but this _specific_ thing probably doesn't move the needle.
August 8, 2025 at 1:50 PM
I don't agree, but I can see that point of view . . .

If it helps men relearn how to play, and how to interact physically with each other, I'm happy for the branding to be "Gladiator Tough Guy Murder". (As a man that goes to therapy)
