I have been meaning to give Cinnamon a go at some point tbf. I used XFCE a long long time ago and I remember loving it, must give it a look again. I'm mostly waiting with bated breath for COSMIC to come out of beta tbh.

1) I do not like Plasma and I love (extended and themed) GNOME and every time I have attempted to give Plasma a chance I have bounced off of it super fast, and 2) my entire system is entrenched in GNOME and GTK and switching is not as simple as it seems.
