I haven't worn a red poppy for decades. The RBL has lost its way. Having arms companies support them, also the money the top people get paid are both obscene.
I wear a white poppy, also a purple one. They align more with remembrance & both sayings, The War To End All Wars & Never Again.

He wants a European army, NATO is controlled by the USA too much. He also stated the EU was partly created to keep peace in Europe. It shouldn't be encouraging wars.

Most people think libraries offer books & nothing else. But there are PC's to use, printing & photocopying. Storytime for the little kids. Warm hubs, groups to join, knit & knatter, Lego clubs, coffee mornings, advice about anything & everything! They're the frontline of the council.

They weren't that bad, until Thatcher cut back staff, money, etc. Then they couldn't offer proper services. Thatcher then started repeating, we can't afford them, costs and prices would be better under private companies. The scary bit is people kept believing that now, with the NHS.
