So Silksong and Hollow Knight have the same amount of bosses with persistent adds (those you kill manually)... so why do people take more issue with Silksong's adds? I'll list possible reasons in replies. (tier list labelled as graphic just for blurring)
A Silksong boss tier list. The tiers are, from top to bottom, "Multiple add types (RNG)", "Multiple add types (not RNG)", "One add type", "Non-persistent adds (only last for one attack)", and "No adds". In "Multiple add types (RNG)" tier there is the first Savage Beastfly fight and the Crawfather. In the "Multiple add types (not RNG)" tier there is Forebearer Signis and The Unravelled. In the "One add type" tier there is Moss Mother, the Savage Beastfly rematch, Broodmother, and Sister Splinter. In the "Non-persistent adds" tier there is Groal the Great and Raging Conchfly. The other 32 bosses are in the "No adds" tier. A Hollow Knight boss tier list. The tiers are, from top to bottom, "Adds (multiple)", "One add type", "Non-persistent adds", and "No adds". In the "Adds (multiple) tier are Grey Prince Zote and The Collector. In the "One add type" tier there are Flukemarm, Uumuu, Vengefly King, Winged Nosk, Broken Vessel, and Lost Kin. In the "Non-persistent adds" tier there is Hive Knight. The other 37 bosses are in the "No adds" tier.
