Also, night time is extremely sketchy. Expect very poor conditions in both crowd abilities/etiquette and run conditions. Last weekend was the most afraid I’ve ever been for my safety, mainly because of the crowd. Good luck!

If I had the time off and kid schedule permitted I would be in Mammoth more, instead we supplement BB area days to make the Ikon pass worthwhile and keep kids consistent. Temps are going up and no precipitation in the next 10 days, definitely go while there’s something!

Slowed rate of healing is a tough pill to swallow and takes some acclimation. “Is there something wrong with my immune system, is something fractured versus sprained? Oh that’s right, I’m over 35.” You still risk, just more “calculated”. :)
