Agreed. You can certainly see why Farke likes him; he has a Bowyer-esque engine.

I realise (before everyone jumps on me and points it out) that it’s a low bar for Aaronson, but for me that was his best game in a Leeds shirt. Much stronger on the ball, better decision making and his work rate can never be questioned.

My point is, they’re identifying good players that will improve us and getting very close to signing them, only for us to get gazumped at the last moment by “bigger” clubs. People will blame the 49ERs for not being ambitious enough if we don’t make “top” signings, but we can see that’s not the case!

THIS is precisely what some of our fanbase seem singularly unable to get their heads around.
