i actually have only started using ao3 properly in the last two years! before that i felt like an old person trying to use a computer with all the fancy filters.

interestingly enough i never used wattpad! after the ffn purge i made an ao3 account but really only consumed fanfic via tumblr, and my perception of wattpad circa 2012 was 1D/bandom and original fiction. MorMor (bbc sherlock) was my niche at the time and it was mostly on tumblr.

i met my first internet friend on ffn in december 2010,, were still friends and it’s so crazy. it’s where i first started in fandom.
