Jordan Spence apologist

I'm self-taught and my teacher was a dimwit
Looks like Jarvis goes into the crease on his own, catches just a bit of Sanderson, and just decks the goalie. Weird for that to count.

Haha Stamkos has obviouslyv been a golden boy his whole life and has the emotional maturity of a toddler or an American President.

Refereeing has been very pro-Nashville. Cancelled a goal put in by a Nashville player shoving somebody into the net before the whistle, then declared a baby slash equal to a tree-chop plus hard cross check to a player down on the ice, because stamkos I guess.

The refs are really determined to do nothing at all this game eh

@downgoesbrown.bsky.social re: today's episode of Puck Soup:

The successfully to "Electric Boogaloo" as a sequel title is "Pig in the City".

"The Letter 2: Pig in the City"

Haha I loved Sanderson taking Bennett and Reinhart 1-on-2 and making them both look like the first cuts from a Timbits team.

Travis Green has to be the worst coach in the league at coaches' challenges. Fireable at this point.
January 8, 2026 at 4:51 AM
Oh that's a fucking dive. Larkin has a long history of this, by far the most prolific diver in this game.
January 6, 2026 at 2:52 AM
Wow what a loser Stanley is. Chickenshit sucker punch. Embarrassing to Winnipeg tbh.
January 4, 2026 at 1:36 AM
The Jets have noticed our powerplay is worse than our EV tonight so they'll just play the whole game 4v5
January 4, 2026 at 12:41 AM
There's obviously another 2 or a 5 for boarding on Xhekaj there. Obvious Habs reffing.
January 2, 2026 at 1:12 AM
Sanderson takes a penalty for being stronger ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Leafs rules I guess

I know that every time Jordan Spence has made a defensive mistake we've said "scratch incoming" but for the last month or so he hasn't been. Last night was deployed exclusively with Chabot at 5v5 and they crushed it.

I'll grudgingly credit Travis Green for eventually noticing who's good at hockey.

Is it possible that the Minnesota Wild are really just a goalie?
December 13, 2025 at 8:27 PM
Batherson had some real Alfie/Tucker energy on that sequence.
November 27, 2025 at 3:47 AM
Is there a clock on that Sanderson shot? I think it teleported into the net.
November 27, 2025 at 3:35 AM
I mean that's boarding, right?
November 25, 2025 at 2:52 AM
Man watching the Sens play with a lead the last two years has been brutal. No juice, no transition play, just letting the opponent hang out in the zone.
November 10, 2025 at 1:36 AM
If this umpire were fair and competent there'd be a run in.
October 28, 2025 at 12:37 AM
I wonder if that turnover-to-goal from Matinpalo will get him scratched got Spence (like happened the other way)
October 27, 2025 at 11:51 PM
A Timmy goal from Zetterlund and Spence just feels nice. If the Sens do well this year it'll probably be partially because those guys are performing.
October 15, 2025 at 11:59 PM
Was that another premature whistle for Vasi?
October 9, 2025 at 11:40 PM
Jordan Spence would've prevented that
October 9, 2025 at 11:27 PM
Maybe they should make the review umpires in New York make the call without knowing how it affects the Yankees.
September 27, 2025 at 8:20 PM
Genuinely looks like Lukes could've caught it. Weird bad call.
