I was pleased to stumble upon Snow Buntings on Arenig Fawr summit last winter. I’d only seen them by the coast, or on Scottish hills previously. Maybe a Shorelark this year!

Something unsettling about that place. Always nice to pop out the top and join the upper Quoich.

Gait Barrows is a great reserve. Saw my first Duke of Burgundy there. Lots of interest. Must get back this year.
