100%. If Nintendo doesn't release another Zelda game I find worth the price, I likely will never buy their titles again. Buy, that is. 😉

Square Enix is also going down a path I can't support, with their recent xenophobia and emphasis on AI.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Wonders what modern hardware of lovingly-crafted fan upgraded can do for retro games.

I never understood the appeal of Pokemon over Digimon when it comes to the anime, but Pokemon DID use to be the defacto option for games between the two.

Like I said, I was originally eager for SoFurry to be back. But the delays have truly gone beyond the pale, and I'm not impressed with the excuses.

Clearly, SF is a low priority.

Paywalls like that are put up by the WRITER, not the hosting service. You'll find that kind of thing on Patreon all the time. Rarely with writing, though, because there is literally no stereotype about artists more famous than how bad writers are at meeting deadlines.

It is DEFINITELY the dumbest timeline. Our collective quantum immortality has really screwed us up, and I wanna get off this worldline and back to the one leading to replicators and eutopia.

Now, that, I had not realized. Definitely monetize where you can - we need sites like SoFurry to stay up, and this kind of hosting and maintenance isn't cheap.

If funding is an issue, I suggest a donation drive. When you guys suddenly dropped all content hosting two months ago, I never would have dreamed you would fail to have ANYTHING up by now.

As anyone who works in tech knows, nothing is as fatal to a business model as extended delays.

As someone who has done these kinds of moves many times over, I'm frankly shocked at the sheer amount of time you guys have burned through.

I'll still be around, since there are very few sites that have decent writing uploaded, but... This has been very excessive, without even a mirror to access.
