Two questions I've been itching to ask. When did you decide to get McCaig to help out with the design, and what was the process like? Is there any chance some of his other illustrations will be released digitally? I am SO obsessed with this design, one of my favorites in recent memory.

The new Star wars comic book series Tales From the Nightlands features a new villain known as the Nightlander. The Nightlander was designed by legendary concept artist Ian McCaig! You can see his design for the Nightlander on the concept art variant cover for issue 1:

Galaxy of Heroes' realistic interpretation of Kix from SW Adventures by Thomas Guillory. Original design by Nick Brokenshire and Eric Jones. There's some minor inconsistencies in the belt and helmet between the key art and model, but overall this is a real nice interpretation.

Loved that issue of SW adventures. The GoH adaptation is pretty interesting.

Star Wars friends and non-Ninjago fans absolutely give Ninjago Legends: Monstrosity a watch. It's one of the most visually striking works I've seen in recent memory, some really fantastic art direction and animation. The writing itself manages to say alot with very little runtime. Fantastic VO work.

I miss when LFL used to share proper reference material. A/T-pose turnarounds, posed renders, character continuity stills, etc. SW dot come also compresses and crops imagery way too much.

Not the first time this has happened. Honestly so crazy seeing the real world impact of my posts, even if it's one or two people checking out the material, it's worth it. Put alooot of time and effort into those breakdowns.

As I live in a third world country, I don't usually have access to physical SW stuff or any sort of supplementary material and merchandise. I'm currently abroad for medical reasons but I couldn't resist seeing what's out there. So here's a big haul, as I won't be going anywhere anytime soon!
