I’m convinced Trump has TV brainrot the same way many other folks have internet brainrot. His entire life has been defined by the box and trying to influence the colors in the box. If other people influence the box colors the way he doesn’t like, he’ll never forget it, because the box is his life

The thing I’ve always wondered is does this knowledge stick? Can he perfectly mimic anything he sees once? Three times? Or does he just know how to do it forever?

It really has ruined other games for me.
TBF I’ve grown weary of the standard open world copy/paste design for a while now, but I was playing Ghost of Tsushima after Cyberpunk and I just got bored and decided to replay Cyberpunk instead

Conservatives always seem genuinely baffled when others don’t stake their entire worldview on governance the way they seem to, as if we would all suddenly change our opinions and beliefs because an authoritarian takes power as opposed to, ya know, continuing to be thoughtful people

Not the point I know, but I do think there’s something to be said about never engaging with anything beyond lowest common denominator media.
I mean enjoy trash and pulp and fun filled romps by all means, but throw something to make you think in there. Brains need mental vegetables too dammit

Well, that coupled with the economic realities I think. If a generation doesn’t have enough resources to feel comfortable on their own, of course they’re going to prioritize the gain of personal resources.

FWIW: I find these session updates very encouraging. It’s nice to see the process for other people, even abstractly, and it’s nice to know that a few hundred words is “enough” for a session

By which I mean of course they know it’s awful for everyone, but are sinking all their money into lying to everyone about it being good actually. But it’ll all come out in time

As one who’s figuring it out in his 30s, I fully agree. I think anarchism has a very simple argument that isn’t widely understood to be anarchism but is widely expressed nonetheless.
