Kit avoiding making eye contact with the imposing figure of Mimic, Glares and pouts as Surge sits down next to him Surge: So what’s the plan now? She looks up at Mimic Mimic: Keep up the act for now. Play nice with the others, but not Too Nice. If they’re keeping an eye on you, they aren’t looking too hard at me. Once Clutch is ready, he’ll send us the order. We’ll hit our targets while their guards are down. He’ll come in, take advantage of the chaos, and we’re out. Suddenly Kit is animated, jumping to his feet as he clutches his little fists together and with a squeaky confidence in his voice that surprises Surge for a second Kit: What about Tails? You're not affiliated with Sonic’s friends or Dr Eggman, I'll admit i'm… curious. What do you want? Clutch: I’m a businessman on the cusp of an aggressive venture. He parts his arms out clutching his cane with pride as he sneers showing off his gold tooth. Clean sweep Inc. is my way of getting into places others cannot. We clean up all those nasty robots and weapons Dr Eggman leaves behind in his conquests… He places his hands on his cane and walks over to a cabinet to take something out… And quietly amass resources and an arsenal beyond comparison. It’ll do No leaks or drafts at least… She looks around uninterested and tugs at a drab purple curtain Mimic(Duo): I took the the liberty of getting you a shared room since you two are codependent Suddenly the cheerful disposition is gone from Duo’s voice and a cheeky grin appears on his face Surge: Interested at this new change of attitude from an otherwise sweet cat with a happy go lucky attitude Whoa! Kitty’s got claws after all? Duo’s face seems to shift and distort with hatred and malice as a sneer breaks through the facade of Duo the cat to reveal Mimic the octopus Mimic(Revealed): I've got far more than claws. He holds up a hand Mimic the Octopus, infiltrator. Clutch told me to make contact with you once you were inside. Surge: Now invested in this interaction fully, her face animates into a laugh after a second Haha!!! Oh Man they have no idea, do they? Mimic: None. Bravo on the bold play with Whisper Earlier. He turns to Kit the fennec with an condescending but authoritative point of his hand, assuming control over the pair much to the chagrin of Kit
