I volunteer at a railroad museum. Wd had some of our track damaged during the snow storm. Semi ran off the road, through a ditch and onto our track.

This was clear last night when we went to bed.

Well, snow/ice has us house bound. The only issue is that my 500 gallon propane tank is down to less thsn 30%. Patiently/impatiently waiting for them to deliver more. They missed an opportunity two days before the storm hit.

Dodged a bullet on the snow/ice storm. We got about 2 inches of snow and a glazing of ice.

The downside of hauling around all those kids is that they are little germ factories. I have the crude. 3 days until Christmas and I'm sick. Grrrrr.

Yesterday was my last train excursion of the season. Had lots of fun this year. Also became a Certified Track Inspector. Next excursions will be around Easter. Have a safe winter.

Fun day at the museum, not. Pouring down really cold rain followed by the fuel pump on the lead locomotive quit. Had to rearrange the excursion. Luckily Santa was on board so the kids didn't notice we were going so slow.

Being retired Coast Guard, I just had to have the O gauge box car.

I collect paperweights. Daughter got me this for my birthday.
