COAR - Confederation of Open Access Repositories
@coar-repositories.bsky.social
COAR is an international association and world leader in open science. COAR brings together individual repositories and repository networks in order to build capacity, align policies and practices, and act as a global voice for the repository community.
The COAR Power Networking session at #LIBER2025 was especially popular since I was joined by COAR Executive Board member, Nathalie Fargier from HAL and CCDS. Repos are going to be more important than ever in the new world of AI. Join the COAR community in charting our path forward!

No surprise that AI is a prime topic at #liber2025. Many projects using AI to improve resource curation. But, nothing ground breaking. On the other hand, interesting conversations over lunch about the potential disruptions ahead for traditional publishing model @rmounce.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy

Last day of #COAR2025 and we close with Petr Knoth (CORE) and Martin Klein (COAR Notify) presenting some very interesting ideas for where we go next with the global network of OArepositories. Exciting times with lots of potential, and super helpful for crafting COAR's new vision in the coming months
