George Foreman fought Muhammad Ali in the Thrilla in Manila in what was the biggest event ever at the time. That was 1975. He knocked out Michael Moorer to regain the world title.. in 1994!

Hes more than just a grill. A salesman. Hes one of the most remarkable human beings ever

Step 1: Think about what you are going to say.
Step 2: Organize those thoughts in simple talking points.
Step 3: Deliver your message in a clear and *concise* manner.

No one is listening if you go on for 7 minutes straight, especially if you’re just repeating yourself.

I love Notre Dame. I’m Catholic through and through. I think Notre Dame will win. But I just love Curt Cignetti too much to go against him. LETS GO HOOSIERS!

Regardless of your team or the outcome, the current NCAA overtime is terrible. Go back to the old 25 yd rules and come what may.

9) _Do you know how to have hard conversations? Be truthful and honest. And when it’s time to make a difficult decision, be simple and decisive.
8) Why are you doing what you’re doing? Are you just copying and pasting from a year ago?

Leave someone out? Make sure everyone involved in the program knows as much as possible as *early* as possible about practices, games, the week, the schedule, and the events

Tips to be a great assistant coach:
1. Work. Find work. There’s always something to do and head coaches don’t want to have to ask and shouldn’t have to do everything themselves.
2. Patience, young one. Your day will come. I know you want everything right now (I did too). Just wait and learn.

It’s my favorite time of year: checking in on the job board. “Coach I have 0 years experience, but I’m young and hungry. I’m currently getting certified in PE. If head coach-in-waiting isn’t a possibility, then I would settle for OC. Here are my Madden and NCAA stats from the past year…”
