Nothing too exciting when it comes to training for the past week. Sometimes that’s the best type of training tho. Although it was cold AF on Sunday morning for my long run and today I got nervous crossing a bridge over the highway 😬

An afternoon at the track followed by & evening run, in the pitch black, in a town I have never ran in before (Exeter, NH). This town is flat as hell🤪 and yes, I did bring my shanks with me. 🔪

Getting more comfortable at being uncomfortable. The treadmill is ALWAYS a mental game for me. Running inside makes me feel claustrophobic. Still working on grade & elevation. I’m pretty proud with how I am progressing & today was my longest treadmill run to date.

Long run Saturday 🏃🏻‍♀️
This 10 mile loop was suppose to be a nice, easy, slow run. It felt that way until mile 5 (photos from before the mile 5 mark). I tried all my breathing and relation techniques that most always get me through difficult parts of my runs. Nothing worked. Shocking I PRed this run.

Full Peaked Hill Run in the books today. For my friends who aren’t local, this is an out and back road over Peaked Hill. Uphill for most of mile 1, the tail end of mile 2, mile 4 & the tail end of mile 5. Always a great training run. Average pace was sub 10 min mile, which is impressive 💪🏻

Treadmill workouts 🤮
But a necessary evil in the training program. I’ve been avoiding the treadmill since December. My last few runs on the mill were the most painful, and not physically. Running inside is mentally taxing for me as there is no change of scenery. Feeling stronger now though. 💪🏻
