Here to learn or be outraged. Depends day to day.
Sounds really cool.

Wow, #8 to 12 (yeah I read the article, whole thing and all 😉) aged really well. I love reading something like this from 2006 and seeing how predictive it was. I think you were well ahead of the curve. A lot of advice I think needs serious consideration and some hard reflection.

Blues Traveler? I'm suspicious of this account...if you had said "any hip hop act ever" it would have been more believable. 😂

My process when people move here and start posting regularly is to follow on BS and unfollow on the other site. When there's nobody, or only a few, left over there I'll delete the other account.

Perfect! Thanks.

learning the platform - do you have a BlueSky dev/tech/ops feed to follow? I've scooped up a bunch of folks who've posted info like this. Would be cool to use a feed to watch the show as you scale at ludicrous speed.

As a new user who does performance engineering for my employer, "BlueSky engineering and ops" is my favorite flavor of content so far. Fascinating to hear how you're handling this tsunami of workload.

Yeah, agree there are bigger platforms and kids use them all. I'm specifically referencing the chat side of things. It is how they talk to one another, heavy use, every day. Snap group chats and DMs, they don't email, they don't text much. That's Snap's niche FWIW.

Good luck finding a teenager or early 20-something that doesn't exclusively communicate with their peers via Snap. DM and group chats for every team, group and class they're in or on. At some point I would think that's meaningful for Snap.

C'mon dude - you're the guy who knows this chart. Today's a very good day to have a very good day. Something about "optimism as a default setting". 😉
