3/ The long term "multilateralism" of a generation of American planners and strategist appears to be halfway to abandonment by a generation of "Maga-ite" American policy tweeting. Staunch US Allies will be hard to come by in the decades to come. People like Andy Ogles-R in congress will thrive.

2/ I thought distance from the horrors of 2 "World Wars" in quick succession would blunt "Great power" restraint. I really didn't factor in that the domestic "White Fright" movement could take a US imperialist (vs isolationist) turn. I'm embarrassed I'm surprised.
