What Sen. Booker did was what the country needed to hear and see. Gov. Walz, Sen. Sanders and AOC are doing the damn thing on the road. Sen. Chris Murphy and Pete Buttigieg are keeping focus informed against the lies. Now, the DNC needs to turn up their volume to high!

It is very frustrating indeed. But I do believe there is a waking up around the country. I don't think Rachel Maddow is overstating this. The question is will the Democratic Party rise to the occasion. There is one major way they can do that instantly, IMHO. Sen. Cory Booker Minority Leader.

You’re not that stupid are you? Sow discord? Google it. And while you’re at it lookup how culturally those issues are part of the reason why Latino young men are turning away from the Democratic Party.

Interesting, considering the amount of men whose votes increased for Trump. Especially from Black and Latino men. Issues like that mattered to them more than you'd want to think. Should it have? That's a fair question.

You’re avoiding my point. And I understand why. Because it’s hard to justify given those factors I laid out. As for my focus on fairness, you don’t know me well enough to even suggest whether I focus on equality or equity or not. I have as a Union member and quite often for your information.

…expectation as an athlete. I coach girls basketball. So yes, to your snarky response, my support isn’t “supposed” regarding women’s and girl’s rights as your advocacy seems to be otherwise. There is an expectation of physical purity in competition. As a coach, I understand it.

From the way you responded I wouldn’t expect that you could. And miss me with your BS comparing me to Trump. Bottom line, competitive sports starts with the belief that participants work on their abilities to compete to win without any enhancements or change. It’s not unreasonable to have that…..

I’m sorry folks. This subject regarding trans girls/women in girls/women’s sports is a straight loser for Dems. The squeaky wheel is getting the grease, but the car still ain’t moving. And there’s many of us that support that community’s rights. But believe in girls and women’s rights as well.

Completely wrong? Where is it? Has it been passed and we didn’t know? No, sir. It’s your inability to read the tea leaves and accept that this country, after all it has witnessed, prefers a centrist government. Partly because progressives are perceived as incapable of governing.

Out of all the predictions, this seems the most plausible. Consider that his entire cabinet is made of businessmen and women. They’re not stupid. They know the dangers of tariffs. Yet they’re quiet as if they know something. Could be the most effective insider trading ever attempted.

And as long as folks like you are unwilling to try to work things out with respect to the concerns of many, folks like you will continue to be more and more isolated. Look no further than Jamaal Bowman and Cory Bush. Learn from mistakes.

Fortunately, I’m glad that the majority of the delegates and Democrats were evidently completely incorrect as well. And the fact that you’re not even willing to consider that we could’ve got some of it done if a more reasonable price tag was found is part and parcel part of the problem.

With that said, there has to be some realism in how we plan to make over a government and a party that will truly recognize how to use our abundance in a fair way. Where investors who take the risks are rewarded, and the consumer isn’t fleeced. That’s realism that must be accounted for looking ahead

Listen, I have no problem with people expressing ways to get out of the current mess we’re in. And I have no problem with these two authors attempting to criticize a party, which is continuing to struggle with their messaging. but as long as greed is not regulated, they will always be roadblocks.

Then, what made matters worse was the ridged stance the left took in terms of paring it down. It left a bad taste in many Dems mouth. Add to that that they sat on their hands during the 2016 presidential elections and you have an even more isolated far left. Bowman and Cori Bush paid the price.

Whether you wish to frame it as vague or whatever, clearly it scared many Dems away and made us ask the subsequent question, “And you want Universal Health Care too?” Again, it’s not that folks didn’t like those initiatives. It simply was too costly as presented at the time.

What I will not do, nor should Dems do is deny facts. The price tag for the GND was estimated between $50 to $90 TRILLION over a 10 year span. The estimated cost per household ranged between $50,000 to $75,000 PER YEAR.

The other part is the reason why those programs you mentioned were able to get done is because they were pared down from the original ask. So another way of looking at it is the centrists helped save the day!
