Having the right mentality is at least as important to improving as a good plan. There has been a ton of focus on velo and spin causing arm injuries recently. My experience at the youth level suggests it’s more an inability to ramp-up players properly and manage work loads over time that is the primary concern for youth. Better pitch count rules needed!
