When asked about being ‘Coach of the Year,’ the Old Coach commented, “It seems whenever I am awarded Coach of the Year, one of my players is ‘Player of the Year’ too. Then, after he is gone, I suddenly am no longer a Coach of the Year. Interesting, isn’t it?”
The Chicago Cubs are my focus in the summer, but it has been several years now since they have been competitive. They need to spend some of that high attendance & high priced beer money on better players. I'll not hold my breath.

Coaching a Fast Breaking Style of 🏀 should include “attention to detail” in practices.
Correct immediately:

# Poor choices leading to turnovers.
# Poor shot selections.
# Laziness in lane running or defensive transition.

What you ignore in practice will surely happen in games.

Winning Programs.
Is it Good Players or Good Coaching?
It is some of both.
Good coaching makes good players even better, and it can also make "average" players into good ones too.

Anyone who thinks Bigs aren’t important in basketball must not be watching any of the NCAA Tournament. Florida, Michigan, Maryland, Duke ….
Size Matters.
Find them, Develop them & Win with them.
