Only a short 4 months later and this time around the count is 8 and a half 😒

The Club World Cup is about to see its first Gentleman’s Agreement.
I’m not a betting man but I’d throw a lot of money in predicting a draw between Bayern and Benfica 🤔⚽️

So that’s just the 7 (SEVEN!!) articles about Russell Martin and his new Sevco gig on BBC Sports app 🙄😒

Once I tell you that the actor who plays Gabriel in the new Mission Impossible movie sounds just like Brain from Pinky and the Brain, you can never not hear it , and it will completely ruin his monologues 👌🎬🎥

Have just binged Dept. Q on Netflix and absolutely loved it.
Acting, script, and direction were all spot on and for once, Edinburgh and Scotland were portrayed in both a positive and realistic way.
Kudos for the Scottish-English workplace depiction.

The amount of people who don’t realise the disposable bbq’s come with legs is unbelievable.
We are too dumb a species to be trusted to use a simple cooking tool without setting fire to our surroundings 😞

He’s talking about Starmer isn’t he? 🤔

You should get Anas Sarwar in as a facilitator.
Did an incredible job in Glasgow with exactly the same issue 👌

As we are commemorating the anniversary of the death of Margaret Thatcher it’s only fitting I share this postcard from comedian Mark Thomas who used to hand these out at his gigs in advance of any funeral

A day of collaboration and innovation yesterday.
Working with Honourary Edinburgh Napier University graduate Richie Gray at the Greenyards as he showcased his latest inventions for player safety & return to play protocols.
A pleasure to be involved learning from the best

There are so many great things about ’Say Nothing’ now streaming on Disney+ that make it must see Television.
Quality drama about the birth of the Troubles in Northern Ireland.
Also very revealing detail about British intelligence psy-ops
👀🇮🇪

The odious Foulkes also made similar comments. I utterly detest that man.

Winter in Scotland can be pretty dreich, but it also has its own particular kind of beauty in its bleakness.

It must be a very small circle of folk, because wouldn’t you know, here’s our old friend Robert Elliott adding to his role of Unionist Club Scotland, Chairman of Reform UK Scotland and tenant of Neil Lal at Darnley Street 🤷‍♂️

In today’s update, I took a look at Together UK Foundations advisory board.
An odd mix of academics and politicians.
#ScottishIndependence folk might recognise this name:

At their latest AGM, Unionist Clubs Scotland discussed tactical voting to keep out 'nationalists' but were also presented with £10K from Neil Lal, President of the Indian Council.
December 4, 2024 at 5:27 PM
The first thing of note are the directors of Reform in Scotland, are listed as Jamie Crawford and Robert Elliot by companies house.
Coincidentally, these 2 directors are also Chairman and Vice Chairman of Unionist Clubs Scotland.

That will be this guy then:
December 4, 2024 at 8:05 AM
As we’ve established the address at 64 Darnley Street is a women’s clothes store, then there’s a question to ask about whether this meets the legal requirements?

I am 100% sure that the real Serena Williams has no desire to listen to my daily pish posted on Blue Sky 🦋😂

I have huge sympathy for the workers at Grangemouth who are losing their jobs, and none at all for Ineos, who seem to be the only petrochemical company in the world who can't make money from an oil refinery.
However, I do wish people started marching to the Scotland Office rather than Holyrood 🤷‍♂️😒

I got his latest newsletter.
Still not sure why he wants a dentist at the falconry centre? 👀😂

As a Coach & Performance Analyst I can thoroughly get behind this:

‘If ever a word was thrown about in football as somehow a cure for all ills it’s analytics. As if there won’t be arseholes in charge who make decisions based on them.’
