I am a former ICE Enforcement Agent who left government service once it became apparant that we were being used as political pawns as early as 2006. We signed up after 9/11 to protect the nation against criminals and terrorists. Not non-criminal workers.
If you look at the history of the gay community, since the 1980s, you will see how gay men were once despised during the time of "Aids." And people called it the gay plague. It was not that long ago, but gay men have since gained some political power and fuck the rest of us.

And one thing overlooked was his executive order last week that reassinged Homeland Security Investigators who work on complex cases involving human and child trafficking to immigration enforcement. It is a slap in the face to them. They have more training than Immigration Enforcement Agents.
