My complete sympathy. One of mine enjoys doing that just as I’ve turned out the lights to go to sleep.

TurkeyDog is very good girl.

Growing up, all the squirrels were brown. Sometime over the last 15-20 years, we’ve started getting a significant number of black ones.

Oof, that’s terrible. Glad kiddo will be okay. Hope they heal as swiftly as possible. Much love to them and their loved ones.

This is the way.

“Apologies, internet denizen. I didn’t realize it was all about you.”

I hope his royal majesty is doing well and pooping normally.

I wonder if corgis are prone to bad teeth. My mom’s corgi had terrible teeth and ended up getting most of them pulled.

Yeah, from what I know of you, Ursula, you absolutely would’ve made the hand gestures. Probably with more gusto.

Oh, I totally feel you on this. My Lucy will leave behind WMDs in the litter box that are just *horrible*. I can always tell when she does it, because she takes off like a bat out of hell. Presumably because the stench offends even her.

Bookmarking for future reference. My short ass could definitely use something like this. My kitchen was built with only tall people in mind.

I’m glad Sergei is now cleared out but my condolences to your sinuses.

Oof, I’m so sorry. It is the worst. Izzy used to do that on the way to my old vet. It was bad. Fortunately my current vet is only five minutes away, so she doesn’t have time to enact her revenge.

Izzy (17) and Lily (16) both have CKD, and in consultation with my vet, get a dose of MiraLAX twice daily with their wet food. Keeps them going, which keeps them (and my wallet) happy.
December 28, 2025 at 9:35 PM
I feel that. My old cat Calvin (may he RIP) had to go to the e-vet only for me to be told “He’s just gassy. That’ll be $600.” That was 10+ years ago. I shudder to think what it would cost now.
December 28, 2025 at 9:33 PM
WTF??? That’s absolutely terrifying.
December 28, 2025 at 8:52 PM
I’m glad your Tiny is recovered. Fingers crossed she stays that way. Zoey is doing much better. The only lingering side effect is she’s become super affectionate. I’ll take it!
December 28, 2025 at 7:13 PM
Practically a bargain.
December 28, 2025 at 7:05 PM
I‘m relieved it wasn’t something more serious. For possible future reference, MiraLAX keeps two of my old lady kitties pooping.
December 28, 2025 at 7:04 PM
My Zoey had a nasty bout of pancreatitis in November. May the gods bless and keep my vet because they fit her in every single day for a week while she stabilized. It was still expensive but not e-vet expensive.

I hope Sergei will be okay and the bill is not onerous.

New effective meds! And guac! A winning time all ‘round. 🎉🎉

Bobos found three of my cats when my mom was walking him and the border collie. Kitties had been abandoned and Bobos went to snoop. Mom: “Let‘s go.“
Bobos: “Make me.”
Kittens: “Hi!”
I will always have a special place in m heart for corgis because of Bobos. He’s also why I wouldn’t get one myself.

Several years ago, my mom ended up taking in a corgi from my brother. This was after having labs and goldens for years. They did have a border collie but she was very chill and laid back. Boy, was Bobos a HUGE shock to them.
“Stop that!”
(With corgi side-eye) “Make me.”
