Marlon Humphrey and Alohi Gilman are straight BBQ chicken tonight. Ravens continue to sit in man with no pressure.

Solid stuff from Maye & McDaniels. Great Dagger/Fin/Dragon calls. Eating up this man coverage.

Mack Hollins has been such a big addition to the Patriots offence this year. Sail route that Maye overthrew in q1 was nasty.

Must be nice when a guy you bring in to be a blocker/size mismatch in the run game can win with his feet 1 on 1 against 2Man.

McDaniels has been stellar this year and it's apparent some of the careless play last year was attributed to AvP. OT vs Titans last year. Post vs 1Man.

Maye still has a few airmails/turnover worthy throws a game to clean up.

But if he does tighten it up he can go as far as he wants come January.

What I fear happening in the playoffs with Drake Maye is plays like pick in the endzone vs the Bucs, pick vs the Steelers going into halftime or his pick vs the Browns will be punished by better teams.

Redzone turnovers will lose you football games against good teams. Every point matters.

Kyle Williams got bailed out there. Couldn't get off of the jam, Marlon Humphrey let go after the initial stab.

Might as well not have anyone spying Lamar if Jack Gibbens is the choice.

He is never threatening Lamar Jackson in open space. I'd be licking my chops at that matchup.

I remember when Lamar was a FA and I had to listen to people try to make the argument that we shouldn't pursue this guy.

If we trot out all 3 of Christian Ellis, Jahlani Tavai and Jack Gibbens on 1st/2nd down it's going to be a long night.

That group is slow.......

Not sure if Marte Mapu is going to be able to step up to the plate and spy Lamar but I guess we'll see the limit of his athleticism tonight.

Would not be surprised in the slightest to see the Vikings pick up Kyler.

Can't think of a better fit for Kyler. Moving pockets/moving throwing lanes are a staple in the Kubiak/Shanny scheme and are exactly what he needs to do more of.

Lets keep Christian Elliss off the field please. Gibby has clearly outplayed him in these limited snaps.

Big game for Henderson against this Bucs D that loves to rush 5+. Need to see some improvement from him in pass pro and he'll be on the field so much more.

Would love to see Jermaine Johnson with Mike Vrabel. Doubt it'll happen but he would fit right into the rotation with Landry/Chaisson/Jennings.

McDaniels clearly took that sabbatical to take a look around the league & college.

Pop Douglas (or any receiver) out of the backfield on a wheel?

Schemed up Jalon Walker on a receiver in coverage. Easy pitch and catch walk in TD.

Drake Maye doing a good job of not missing easy layups.

Watching these Mic'd up videos from McDaniels it's crazy to see the night and day difference between last year and this year.

McDaniels is such a vast wealth of experience and presence on the sidelines. OC change sheds some light on some of the bad turnovers from Maye's rookie year.

O has done a good job today of playing complimentary football. Something that was missed the last few seasons post-Brady era.

Patriots schedule seems to be a cakewalk to the playoffs. It's the NFL so anything can happen but I'm interested to see if Maye can keep this level of play come January.
October 26, 2025 at 7:22 PM
That's the drive that should have happened after the Brown's missed their FG in the 2q. McDaniels needed a moment to regroup it seems.

Defence should get a stop and let's make this a 3 score game.

If I'm the Browns I absolutely love having our #1 CB matched up with Hunter Henry on a 7 w/ the endzone as an extra help defender..

Tough start to the game for McDaniels and Maye.
October 26, 2025 at 6:00 PM
Classic Browns move to not play some complimentary football and get some points off that turnover from Maye.

This is the NFL you don't get gimmie's often. Maye has to follow that drive with some points here.

Give Cleveland the ball with less than 6mins left and trust your defence to get a stop.

Seeing the latest QB school vid on Maye makes me feel less like I am taking crazy pills.

If you dare say anything negative about Maye right now you get 1000 PFF grades trying to shoehorn Tom Brady comparisons in.

He plays nothing like Tom Brady. Drake Maye is more Miami Big Ben than Brady.

A note for sports: Bluesky’s engagement rate was x10 higher than X’s across a sampling of identical posts made on both platforms by @rapsheet.bsky.social (sharing with permission)

Fwiw we see a similar trend across all communities, not just sports. Real people, real conversations.

Might have to mute the words "Drake" and "Maye" until the Patriots play a real opponent.

Which I am aware won't happen until, like, December.

Pop Douglas put on a show this past weekend. Put those Chism murmurs to bed.

Squirrel route on Boutte's TD left #1 Alontae Taylor broken off so badly he almost fell into Boutte's corner.

Nice concept from McDaniels. Squirrel + Corner w/ RB on a check flat. Essentially a Big Smash concept.

Expecting Buffalo to send 6+ frequently tonight (6th in the league)

Would like to see Drake Maye make some strides in his pocket awareness and movement if we're going to look competitive tonight.

Last week was essentially playing 7on7 with Carolina putting up 3 pressures. Won't happen tonight.
