#Louisiana is travelling backwards in time. Thank God I made it out on March 30, 2023. I, too, had a 10-2 verdict. They're even trying to get a 50-year-old's death sentence reinstated for a crime committed when he was 17 years old. He's been doing LIFE since.

They are going TOO far. This is simply an intimidation tactic to try to silence OUR voices of resistance. An aide to a member of Congress?! Unbelievable. Unconscionable.
Federal officers entered Rep. Jerry Nadler’s office in Lower Manhattan on Wednesday and handcuffed and briefly detained one of his aides. The confrontation happened shortly after the aide observed federal agents detaining migrants in a public hallway outside an immigration courtroom.

When I was in prison, I was a lot of things: cook, Inmate Counsel (lawyer), certified tutor. I helped hundreds of middle-aged guys earn their GED/HiSET diplomas. One thing I always did, and will continue to do until I die, is teach the TRUE racist history of this country. Don’t tell me it isn’t.

Prison - and jail - is already a slow death. Why not add starvation, dehydration and torturous neglect to the mix? The richest country in the world (pre-Trump) does this, and it is unconscionable.
