now i wonder whats to blame for this.. oh right: capitalism. its so insane how much better things can be in every aspect when money is removed out of the equation. it doesn’t matter what facet of life you’re applying it to it’s just infinitely better without capitalism involved

for example know how when you’re playing a game and someone on your internet starts streaming/downloading something and your ping spikes? completely avoidable with simple software, a literal 1 click fix. even on my slow ass connection with 10 people using it my ping never spikes from 30.

and now ANOTHER performance boost from setting up a FOSS recursive caching dns server. it makes me wonder how insanely fast my internet could get with 8gbps fiber and a beefy router. so many things we assume are normal when it comes to internet just arent
