I hear you. Still, I'm a user on this platform and I won't coddle them, either, because I know how to stand up for myself without becoming one of them. That's just the way I'm dealing with it, but everyone decides for themselves what they want to do moving forward.

Some people do and who did worse is a matter of perception. They're thinking the same thing about us and since we look to them the way they look to us, nothing will change.

People played nice before? I missed that. I saw people caught off guard because they believed their friends, family, and neighbors weren't going to put such a toxic person in office. Being respectful and firm is a possibility. We can be unwavering and loud without slinging insults that mean nothing.

I disagree with DEI being racist in any way and I understand White privilege (thanks to a video shared with me years ago, believe it or not). But I also understand why it's an odd concept. I don't think that it's been explained very well in the past. OR I'm just a very visual learner.

Who we voted for doesn't have anything to do with the type of people we are when interacting with others. Nobody will listen to us if we don't show the difference. It can't just be with our beliefs because that hasn't worked. Hate vs hate doesn't encourage progression toward inclusion.

We're keeping it simple for the moment! Buffalo chicken dip is the favorite! We have a variety of chips, along with cannoli chips for "dessert!" Pretty sure we're going to break and get pizza at some point. :)
